Julia Laskowski (b1991) spent the first five years of her career primarily as a Graphic Designer, but now divides her practice between this, in addition to Illustration and Animation. In 2016, she left her agency role to branch out into illustration and working freelance. Her passion to work with community based and not for profit organizations has led her to work with such organizations as, The Movember Foundation, The Resilience Project, Headspace, International Committee of the Red Cross, PBS FM and the ACT Government. With her background in both design and illustration, she worked as a designer for over 3 years with The Jacky Winter Group: Australia’s largest illustration agency.
She now teaches design at RMIT, works as a Commercial Illustrator and manages a range of freelance Graphic Design clientele.
