Manasee is an interdisciplinary artist-designer currently teaching at RMIT and pursuing her PhD, exploring different facets of working with creative communities, makers and the art they embody; while parallely questioning her creative practice through the lens of craft, collaboration, migration - all in the hope of investigating her practice and understand the parallels it represents. Manasee has exhibited her printmaking and public installation work in solo and group shows in both Melbourne and India. She has taught in the past in India and in Sweden for almost a decade.
Her research interests lie in working with materiality, gender, feminism transculturalism, visual culture and craft.
