Manasee is an interdisciplinary artist-designer currently teaching at RMIT and pursuing her PhD, exploring different facets of working with artisan communities, makers and the art they embody; while parallely questioning her creative practice through the lens of gender, place and migration - all in the hope of finding connections with the self. Manasee has exhibited her printmaking and public installation work in group shows in India. She has taught in the past in both India and Sweden for a total of 8 years.
Her research interests lie in working with materiality, gender, feminism transculturalism, visual cultures and craft.
