Background
Renato has 26 years industry and design mentoring experience and has facilitated student projects with Qantas, Aesop, Grand Hyatt, Mecca Cosmetics, Vue de Monde and Peony Haute Perfumerie. He has had his packaging work sold in leading international stores such as Colette (Paris), Le Bon Marche (Paris), Conran (London, Tokyo), Barneys (Tokyo), DKNY Manhattan, Paul Smith (London) and NGV to name a few. He has presented his branding and identity work to IMG (NYC), The United Nations (NYC), Conde' Nast (Paris), Swedish School of Textiles (Gothenburg), The Woolmark Company (Sydney), Australian Consulate General in NYC, Paris and Moscow. His work has been published in 2 Japanese packaging books, Cosmetics Package Design and Package & Wrapping Graphics and has won design awards for the Strathmore Paper Mill (packaging produced for a Versace exhibition in Sydney) and the A'Design Awards, Milan for the 'Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design' category. His recent fashion and humanity startup project, Dresscode Initiative (2011-14), was mentored by Scott Fellows (NYC), a former Creative Director of Swiss luxury brand, BALLY and co-founder of BassamFellows (NYC).
